We are partnering with a $1.5B National Systems Integrator that is currently pivoting towards services being their main revenue/profit driver, something their executive leadership team has been successful doing before. They provide solutions and managed services around both Networking (SDN, SD-WAN, Route/Switch, UC, Wireless/Mobility) and Data Center (Storage, Virtualization, Compute, HCI, Hybrid/Private Cloud). They have a very strong presence in the South-Central and SouthEastern US, including several large enterprise customers in Texas (American Airlines, Samsung, AMD, Exxon Mobil, etc) as well as Atlanta (Coca Cola, Home Depot, Suntrust, AT&T, etc). They partner with most of the industry's top players (Cisco, Palo Alto, Dell/EMC, HPE, NTAP, VMware, Citrix, MS, etc), and offer their engineers all-you-can-eat training and opportunities for advanced certifications from these firms.
The Managed Services team is one of the key components of their growth strategy moving forward, and is getting a lot of visibility up to the executive level. In order to continue building their momentum in this area, they are looking to hire a Sr. Networking Support Engineer based in Dallas/Plano. This is a senior level role that will lead the charge in helping on-board all new customers from a technical perspective. They will also function as a Team Lead, mentoring junior engineers, and working with the company's largest customers on the most critical escalations. The team this person will be joining has a very positive attitude that is infectious - they are on Cisco Spark collaborating throughout the day, and always have each other's backs. This role will be paid a lucrative base salary, and also have opportunity for career advancement as they continue to scale.
