We are partnering with a storage start-up, literally at the ground floor, that is separating its self from the commoditized nature of the storage market. The firm is adding Regional Sales Directors in the Bay Area & SoCal (LA/OC).
About the Company:

- 9 patents solidifying ownership of implementing NVMe over the Network
Consumers utilizing modern cloud & database applications are looking for throughput. Even with NVMe speeding storage, throughput is limited by slower/older storage protocols. It’s like putting a Ferrari on a one lane highway behind a Prius.
Solving the Problem:
Implement NVMe over the network. By increasing bandwidth and latency substantially, next gen applications, high frequency traders and AdTech firms will be able to crunch data into micromovements for fast, efficient analysis. This can all be accomplished while minimizing physical storage reducing the fixed costs.
Bandwidth: Our client’s platform, increases bandwidth to 120 GBps (GigaBytes per second) compared to 5 GBps by leading All Flash vendors making our client’s performance 25x more impactful.
Latency: All Flash vendors such as Pure currently are working on refining latency to about 0.5 a millisecond. Our client’s latency provides speeds of 200 microseconds.
Density: For the increased bandwidth and latency, a customer does not need more than a 4u Chassis whereas an All Flash solution would require multiple racks. Immediate ROI.
About the Opportunity:
This is a chance to create a new market based on existing use cases. There is a demand and customers don’t even know it because the solutions haven’t presented themselves…yet. Creating a new market is hard and risky, yet if successful, the rewards are plentiful. Tier 1 VC’s such as Kleiner Perkins & Artiman Ventures have invested millions and early stage Pure employees are leading the charge.
