Description

We are partnering with an early stage storage start-up separating its self from the commoditized nature of the storage market.  The firm is adding a Regional Sales Director to cover the NY Metro Area.  This is a net new role within the organization.  More details below.

About the Company:

How is this company different?

Our client is uniquely positioned to compete with traditional AFA vendors by providing significant performance increases around bandwidth and latency while reducing density

Bandwidth: By implementing our client’s platform, analytics applications will have a bandwidth of 120 GBps (GigaBytes per second) compared to 1 GBps by leading All Flash vendors.  While AFA’s such as Pure are gearing up for new releases, those offerings will likely offer no more bandwidth than 5 Gbps, making our client’s performance 25x more impactful. 

Latency:  From a database standpoint, All Flash vendors are way behind.  Pure currently offers latency of about 1 millisecond and is working on refining it to about 0.5 a millisecond. Our client’s latency provides speeds of 200 microsecond. 

Density:  Our client’s competitive performance also provides cost savings when it comes to physical space. For the increased bandwidth and latency, a customer does not need more than a 4u Chassis whereas an All Flash solution would require multiple racks.  Immediate ROI. 

By increasing bandwidth and latency substantially, high frequency traders and AdTech firms will be able to crunch data into micromovements for fast, efficient analysis. Minimizing physical storage reduces the fixed costs; it is a win all around.
