We are currently partnering with a $26B global organization that has over 200,000 employees across 30 countries. The group that we are specifically working with is a rapid growth division providing end-to-end embedded OEM solutions for the storage, server, networking, and converged infrastructure markets. Many of their customers, including both large market leaders like Cisco (who they do over $1B annual revenue with) as well as new-age storage players like Tintri, Nimble, and Cohesity, as well as security firms like Palo Alto and FireEye, don't want to build up a large hardware design team or incur the costs of multi-year design cycles, since all of their IP is in the software layer. This firm solves that problem, acting as a virtual hardware organization for their customers by providing custom design, manufacturing, systems integration, configuration, and installation services across a global footprint. Bottom line- they help their clients launch new product platforms faster, more cost effectively, and with higher quality than doing it on their own.
In order to continue building on their current momentum w/ Cisco, they are hiring a dedicated Sr. Director of Global Account Management in the Bay Area. This Sr. Director will be in a highly visible role supporting one of the firm's largest and most complex customers, giving them both visibility at the executive level as well as the ability to impact tangible change. Both Cisco and our client are at the forefront of innovation in the areas of supply chain, factory automation, and digitization. Thus, this person will be exposed to how two great companies engage to manufacture next-generation products. This group is on a current trajectory to double every 2-3 years, so this person will also have a future career path as they continue to scale. Sr. Directors at this firm are paid a lucrative base salary + bonus, with much higher earning potential beyond that based on divisional over-achievement. This group has exceeded their targets almost every quarter the past 3 years, at a peak attainment of 180% of plan, meaning this person would also exceed their target bonus accordingly.
