We are currently partnering with a Pre-IPO software-defined storage player that is taking the Hybrid Cloud market by storm! For any storage or infrastructure professionals that recognize that it's a race to the bottom on hardware and everything is going to the cloud, you want to get on board with this trend. Their unique value proposition enables customers to build on-prem private clouds behind their own firewall, with the freedom to move workloads back and forth to public clouds from Amazon and Google, all without any proprietary gateway. For a company at their stage (soon to be closing their C round), their client roster is phenomenal, including Disney, Facebook, Ebay, Pixar, Dreamworks, T-Mobile, Verizon, AstraZeneca, Barclays, Lockheed Martin, NIH, and a 3-letter IC agency, just to name a few. They’ve been doubling their annual subscription revenue, and are on pace for another double this year, having just closed another record quarter. They also have a close strategic partnership w/ Cisco, are on Cisco’s global price list, and Cisco reps get quota retired by selling this company’s solution into their accounts.
The Western Region in particular is on fire, having already attained 70% of their annual goal with half the year remaining. In order to continue building their momentum, they are looking to hire two Presales SE's on the West Coast: one home-based in the LA area to cover the Southwest, and one in the Bay Area (home-based or out of their HQ) to cover the Northwest. Each of these territories have many large existing reference-able customers to leverage, with a concentration of M&E/Gaming accounts in the Southwest, and Web/Biotech accounts in the Northwest. SE's at this firm are paid a lucrative base salary + commissions, as well as an attractive pre-ipo equity package. Beyond that, each of these roles could have a potential career path towards a leadership role and building out a team underneath themselves as they continue to scale.
