We are currently partnering with an independent federal subsidiary of a $5B storage and data management market leader. Their storage portfolio is complemented by software for data analytics, cloud migrations, IoT, and other areas. They now offer the lowest price per performance of anyone in the industry, and their enterprise platform offers double the iops of their nearest competitor. Beyond that, their products flat out work, as evidenced by their largest federal customers - CIA, DISA, IRS, and others.
To build on their current momentum, they are now looking to hire a Business Development Manager to focus on a select group of FSI's, namely Lockheed, Leidos, GDIT, Northrop Grumman, and AT&T. This role will be chasing longer term mega-opportunities, and working collaboratively with the end-user focused account teams. Ideally, they are looking for this person to put a strategic focus on the IC, as they have their own facilities clearance and the ability to park people's tickets. Team members at this firm have reasonable goals/expectations, great benefits, and an awesome comp plan that includes accelerators to maximize upside potential. Their top federal rep last year earned $1.3M, so they are not afraid to pay people. They have top tier SE support, and a leadership team that lets reps drive their own business without interference. This person will also have a potential career path into leadership, given the opportunity to help grow the FSI/BD team as the company continues to scale.
