We are currently partnering with a Pre-IPO hybrid cloud storage player that just shattered its company record for revenue, and also had its third straight year of triple digit annual growth. Their unique value proposition enables customers to build on-prem private clouds behind their own firewall, with the freedom to move workloads back and forth to public clouds from Amazon and Google, all without any proprietary gateway. They also have a close strategic partnership w/ Cisco, are on Cisco’s global price list, and Cisco reps get quota retired by selling this company’s solution into their accounts. They have over 100 clients in production that include Verizon (their largest client), Facebook, Ebay, T-Mobile, AstraZeneca, Barclays, Lockheed Martin, NIH, and a 3-letter IC agency. They have been particularly successful in the Media & Entertainment vertical, landing Dreamworks, Premier Digital, BAMTech (now owned by Disney), Snapfish, Riot Games, Rockstar Games, and more. They also continue to find new use cases to expand their total addressable market, including a recent huge win with an autonomous driving company as well as new strategic partnerships with Splunk & Veeam.
While many of their peers have taken huge rounds of funding and diluted their equity, this company has intentionally taken a different approach, becoming cash flow-positive in only seven years. As such, they're in a much stronger position to negotiate better terms for their next round of funding, which should be closing within the next 60 days. In order to continue building on their current momentum, they are now hiring another Presales Solutions Architect home-based in Socal to cover the Western US. This person will be joining an over-performing region that has multiple strategic account sales teams as well as a Media Solutions Engineer who has done this at scale, having previously managed a 10PB environment with a large post-production house. SA's at this firm are paid a lucrative base salary + commissions with accelerators for over-achievement, as well as an attractive Pre-IPO equity package.
